A. JAMES TAGG
Mr. Tagg has been an important part of the executive placement industry in the Central Florida area since 1988. First, as the Key Account Manager with the national recruiting firm Leahy and Co. out of Boston, and today with the Tampa based national search organization of Trademark Recruiting. Through these opportunities, Jim has perfected his skills in the placement of top accounting and financial professionals. His numerous placements make him a unique center of influence among the area’s financial community. In 2000, Jim began Trademark Recruiting with Mike Carideo while working with the finest companies throughout Florida, and the Southeast. Jim Tagg is a graduate of Rollins College in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Carideo has been recruiting Information Technologies professionals in Florida for more than 20 years. His experience and understanding of the recruiting industry and his extensive network of technology professionals has allowed him to develop one of the most successful Information Technology recruiting practices in Central Florida. Mr. Carideo successfully managed an IT recruiting practice before starting Trademark Recruiting, Inc. in the spring of 2000. Currently, he directs both the Information Technology permanent placement practice and the consulting practice at Trademark. Mike has a M.S. from St. Thomas University in Miami and a B.S. in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
Mr. Rafferty’s experience in the professional placement industry began in 1999. His diverse experience ranging from generalist staffing to high level IT, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing professionals has allowed him to gain a strong understanding of the needs of the individual as well as the client. Prior to joining Trademark Recruiting Mr. Rafferty successfully built a professional recruiting office within a Fortune 500 placement firm that oversaw the state of Florida and supported several Fortune 500 clients. As a part of Trademark Recruiting he has established himself as a valued resource in the area’s Information Technology market, providing industry and market knowledge to candidates and clients. Mr. Rafferty holds a B.S. in Business Management from Purdue University and is a graduate of the prestigious Culver Military Academy.
Prior to joining Trademark Recruiting, Mr. Messer has had successful careers in sales, marketing and technology. He began his technology career in 2000 starting Media Spiders in Blacksburg, VA. He developed and grew this start-up company from creating websites for mom and pop shops to working with international magazines including Log Home Design Ideas and the well known magazine Architectural Digest. In 2002, Jason took a temporary leave from Media Spiders to work for Deloitte Consulting as a Financial Systems consultant. Then, following his progression in IT, Jason took a job with Ardent Health Care in 2003 as a Mercury Automation and Load Testing Specialist. In 2004, he relocated to Tampa, FL to work for the VA Medical Facility and to reassume duties with Media Spiders. In the Spring of 2005, Jason co-founded Road Beetle Software Systems which provides interactive informational services to the music industry. With both Media Spiders and Road Beetle thriving on their own, he took a Sales Consulting with Wave Technologies to assist in the mass marketing and sales at Wave Technologies. Now with Wave on its way Jason Messer has stepped aside to take full time position with Trademark Recruiting as a Senior IT Account Manager.
Scot Morrison is a West Florida native. After pursuing an All American Collegiate football career and subsequent coaching opportunity, Mr. Morrison started and managed a private service company in Colorado. After selling this enterprise in 2000, Mr. Morrison began a very successful career in the financial services industry and information technologies. With Bear Stearns, Scott was responsible for a team of sales analysts marketing a variety of investment instruments to Fortune 500 clients. With Idearc Media, Scott became an SEO/ SEM expert focused on B2B solutions in the fast growing internet services sector. In 2011, Scott returned to Florida to join Trademark Recruiting. Today Mr. Morrison provides services in the field direct search and placement of financial professionals in a variety of industries with a focus in Central Florida. In addition, Mr. Morrison’s geographic network reaches national and international markets.
Jason Toledo is a Tampa native and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Florida State University. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business management. In 2002, he began a career in wholesale banking with a nationally recognized World Savings and Loan Bank. In 2006, Jason left the banking industry to successfully launch a successful internet business specializing in information technology asset recovery and redistribution. In 2010, Mr Toledo helped launch a joint venture of a second successful internet business. Mr. Toledo has since joined Trademark Recruiting, bringing along his experience in both banking and e-commerce. Jason brings a first hand understanding that quality people propel the success of a business. As a result, he takes great pride in placing quality professionals with clients, within the finance and accounting fields.
After completing a successful academic and collegiate football career as an NCAA Division I scholar athlete at the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Mike graduated with a Bachelors of Arts with a focus on corporate communications. In 2012, he began a successful sales career with an industry-leading services and staffing company. There he garnered national recognition for his performance and productivity throughout 2013-2015. Prior to joining Trademark, Mr. Mike served one of the largest global leaders in investment management and investment services. From his experience, he brings valuable knowledge from the information technology industry. Mr. Mike has since joined Trademark Recruiting, bringing along his experience in sales, staffing/services and information technology. Mr. Mike brings a firsthand understanding of high quality people by identifying the top talent in the market versus on the market. As a result, he takes tremendous pride in matching potential talent with clients within the finance and accounting fields.
