Manager FP&A

The Manager FP&A assists with management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions. This individual is the key day-to-day finance partner to our St. Petersburg-based operational leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
” Key day-to-day finance business partner for all St. Petersburg-based operational leaders
” Support operational leaders deliver on all initiatives, including revenue and commission modeling, net customer addition/attrition reporting, new product revenue/performance reporting, and projects
” Key day-to-day finance leader for all of Payments’ SG&A and headcount forecasting/budget/modeling
” Prepare quarterly and monthly financial reports
” Assists with long range planning
” Prepares the annual operational plans
” Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
” Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
” Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
” Develop data-driven presentations and insightful business commentary with conclusions, reconciliations, verification, and recommendations in concise formats for management and the Board on a monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc basis
” Create, run and modify SQL queries to retrieve large datasets for monthly operational reporting
” Work with large and complex datasets to establish dashboards that drive profitability and
” efficiency by analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), business drivers and unit economics through segmentation analysis
” Hands-on management of the Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting process for SG&A planning and capital budgeting, along with assisting in revenue and COGS
” Boost the organization’s financial performance through the analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
” Identify new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimizing risk.
” Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies
” Analyze the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
” 7+ years’ experience in Finance
” 2+ years’ experience in Management
” Strong leadership skills required
” Experience in healthcare company preferred
” High proficiency in SQL queries a must (can flex for the right candidate with a willingness to learn); day-to-day requires creating/running/modifying SQL queries to retrieve large datasets
” Adaptive Insights and Workday experience preferred; Hyperion and SAP BPC experience a plus.
” Requires minimal daily supervision; independent thinker and self-motivated
” Keeps Director and team members apprised of progress with goals and objectives
” Demonstrates mastery for all job responsibilities to allow for increasing independence
” Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and leverage resources to deliver results
” Ability to work under pressure, navigate a matrixed environment and meet tight deadlines

EDUCATION:
” Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred
